About

In my clinical practice, I have provided psychological counseling to LGBTIQ individuals across a wide spectrum of developmental stages and psychosocial contexts. A significant portion of my work has involved supporting individuals who are questioning their sexual orientation or experiencing insecurity and internal conflict regarding their sexual identity. I approach these cases with an affirmative, evidence-based framework, focusing on identity integration, minority stress, internalized stigma, and the development of stable self-concept and relational functioning. I have extensive experience in the psychological assessment and therapeutic support of transgender adolescents and adults. This includes comprehensive clinical evaluation of gender dysphoria, differential diagnostic considerations, assessment of psychosocial functioning, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams when appropriate. My work emphasizes careful diagnostic formulation, exploration of co-occurring psychological conditions, support during social transition, and preparation for potential medical interventions in accordance with established professional guidelines. Additionally, I have worked therapeutically with bisexual and homosexual couples, addressing relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, communication difficulties, sexual functioning concerns, and the impact of societal stressors on partnership stability. My approach integrates psychodynamic understanding of relational patterns with cognitive-behavioral and systemic techniques to facilitate healthier communication, emotional regulation, and mutual support within the relationship.
