About

Hello, I’m Maggie and my pronouns are she/her. Starting therapy can feel like a daunting experience and sometimes words may feel they are not enough. Creativity and art can be a gentle way to enter a therapy journey. I'm a friendly, compassionate, intuitive and grounded therapist. I'm a qualified MA Dramatherapist registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council). I have over twenty years experience supporting adults and young people with various challenges. I believe healing & change can happen within a therapy space that holds safety, creativity & trust. Would you like to create positive change? My sessions are collaborative; neurodiversity - diagnosed and undiagnosed) & LGBTQIA+ affirming. My work is evidence-based, person-centered, trauma-informed and holistic. I work with each person's preferences, needs and values with dignity, compassion & respect. My practice is person-centred ad I work relationally, which means that I place the quality and the value of our therapeutic relationship as paramount in our work together. I offer in-person sessions, online and phone sessions. Clients don't have to "be creative" or have creative skills or background to access sessions. The initial step may feel the most challenging, yet through collaborating together we can learn more about yourself & what may support you on your journey. Sessions offer an inclusive, warm, playful, grounded, compassionate, trauma-informed & safe environment. I invite clients to have choice in the way we work together that feels comfortable & nourishing to support you to explore, express, release & find creative insight. My intention is to support you with tools for your life & emotional wellbeing. Being an MA Creative Arts Psychotherapist - Dramatherapist means we can collaborate in a way that feels holistic & right for you, where you can explore, express and safely make sense of your internal world. Please feel free to contact me to ask any questions you may have ad/or to book a initial session. I look forward to meeting with you.
