Nick Spinks

Alongside my wider psychotherapy practice, I have a particular interest and expertise in working with gay, bisexual and queer men. My doctoral and published research has explored experiences of shame, internalised homophobia and suicidality among GBQ+ men. I work with adults of all sexual orientations and gender identities, offering a thoughtful and collaborative approach to understanding emotional difficulties, relationships, identity and sexuality. My work draws on psychoanalytic psychotherapy and Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT).
