About

Until March 2024, I had been in a same-sex partnership for 24 years, since the age of 20, when my spouse passed away. This experience, combined with a healthy circle of friends from both the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond, gives me a profound understanding of the elements of grief and the complexities associated with being part of a marginalized group. I am acutely aware of the pitfalls, benefits, dangers, and all aspects related to the sexuality and hormonal components of individuals within this community. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community for 26 years and a dedicated advocate for LGBTQIA+ individuals and marginalized groups, I am deeply informed about the relevant laws and biopsychosocial factors impacting these communities. My approach is centered on helping individuals who are coming out or discovering their identity find healthy ways to involve their families, friends, and employers in their journey toward acceptance and understanding. My methodology is gentle, solution-focused, and grounded in acceptance. I am particularly adept at addressing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals, including grief, shame, bullying, and corrective rape. My extensive experience as a neurodiversity coach, life coach, and business coach has afforded me the privilege of working closely with this community, enabling me to facilitate positive change not only for the individuals themselves but also for the companies they work for and the families they belong to. From a clinical psychologist perspective, I understand brain chemistry, physiology, and psychology at a deep level, allowing me to fully support and embrace this community. I am also highly sensitive to cultural and religious factors and have developed strategies to navigate these aspects respectfully. This ensures that individuals can live their authentic lives while respecting their cultural and religious backgrounds.
