About Me
As a bi-racial, bisexual therapist, my lived experience informs my practice. I provide compassionate, culturally competent care to individuals and families—focusing on intersectional and marginalized communities.

Approach
Therapy is collaborative, holistic, and strengths-based. Honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit, I create a safe, affirming space in-person and via telehealth.

Specialties
I specialize in complex & racial trauma, LGBTQ2S+ concerns, mood disorders, grief, and relational issues using evidence-based modalities: CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, SFT, and MBSR.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Lucia Rios Maia da Silva brings a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and anti-oppressive approach to psychotherapy. Drawing from psychodynamic perspectives, her work explores unconscious processes, attachment dynamics, and the repetition of relational and behavioral patterns across individual and collective experiences. Her clinical and academic interests integrate mental health, migration, identity, and expanded states of consciousness, with a particular focus on plant medicines and traditional healing practices. Lucia is currently pursuing a PhD in Anthropology, where her research examines the intersections between psychedelics, culture, healing, and social justice.
