My approach to LGBTQIA+ mental health is rooted in person-centred, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and gender-affirming care, informed by a strong humanistic orientation. My work involves supporting clients through concerns related to gender dysphoria, identity exploration, internalised transphobia and homophobia, self-acceptance, and the emotional complexities of gender-affirming journeys. I aim to help clients understand the relationship between their internal experiences and the social, familial, cultural, and structural contexts that influence their mental health. Having worked with Sringaar Foundation in Delhi, I am glad I could extend my services to the community in a very extensive manner.

As a queer-affirmative and trauma-informed therapist, I focus on creating a space where my client's identity isn’t just accepted but is recognized as an ever-evolving, fluid aspect of their organic being, which lays the very foundation of our work together. My practice is deeply rooted in a humanistic-existential framework, where I prioritize the lived experience of my clients and the search for personal meaning within a non-judgmental, authentic therapeutic relationship. However, being a queer-affirmative therapist means much more than viewing my clients solely through the lens of their identity. For me, it means acknowledging every part of their internal world that holds weight. I aim to provide a holistic therapeutic space where no part of their experience is marginalized. My goal is to see my client's entirety, where their identity is respected, but their individual goals, mental health concerns, and personal aspirations are also provided with equal value.

I’m Shivani Eleen Barwa, a Counselling Psychologist and an Associate Gestalt-trained Therapist with a deep interest in creating emotionally safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental spaces for people to explore themselves authentically. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration, where I work alongside clients rather than positioning myself as an authority over their experiences.

I work with concerns related to anxiety, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationships, identity exploration, loneliness, life transitions, and personal growth. I am particularly passionate about queer-affirmative therapy and understanding how social structures, identity, culture, and lived experiences shape emotional wellbeing.

Alongside therapy, I am also a poetry writer, sportsperson, and mandala artist... creative spaces that deeply influence the way I understand healing, expression, and human connection. I believe therapy is about helping individuals reconnect with themselves with greater awareness, self-compassion, and authenticity. 🌻

Shivani Barwa

Soumya Nayak

With 3 years of experience, I work with individuals navigating emotional, personal, relational, and psychological concerns in a gentle and supportive environment.

Nidhi R Lalwani Jain

I’m Keo (they/it), a queer, genderfluid psychologist and UGC-NET qualified mental health professional with an M.Sc. in Psychology and B.Sc. Psychology (Honours). My approach to therapy is rooted in social constructionism, recognising how culture, identity, systems, and lived experiences shape the emotional challenges we face; especially within queer communities. I aim to offer a non-pathologising, non-judgmental, and affirming space where clients can explore themselves freely, without fear of bias or shame.

I take an eclectic approach to practice, drawing from CBT, behavioural therapy, and alternative modalities like art, movement, and play-based techniques. My lived experience as a queer and genderfluid person informs my work while making space for each client’s unique story, needs, and way of being. I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ individuals, adolescents, and people looking for a space where they can show up authentically and feel genuinely seen and supported.

Divya Chingachumparambil

I provide group therapy to members of LGBTQ+ community and have come to hone my craft of supportive and inclusive therapy. I guide clients through ups and downs of the queer experience, evolving identities and coming out. I have also learned to establish strong group dynamics such that a strengthened community emerges from scattered individuals.

Sweta Raghav

As a highly motivated therapist and published researcher, I am deeply committed to leveraging my skills and expertise to empower individuals and communities, including those from LGBTQ+ communities. I am dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive and affirming therapeutic space where clients can explore their identities, experiences and challenges without judgement.

I draw on a variety of therapeutic techniques and theories to create a personalised treatment plan for each client. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and that meaningful change is best supported through treatment tailored to individual needs, values and goals. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity, identity affirmation and emotional safety.

The therapeutic approaches I use include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). I have experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals with concerns related to identity exploration, coming out, minority stress, relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, depression and overall wellbeing.

I offer LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy grounded in respect, safety, and genuine curiosity about who you are. This is a space where your identity is not questioned, explained away, or treated as a problem to be solved. You don’t have to educate me, justify yourself, or fit into any boxes to belong here.
My work supports LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples navigating identity exploration, coming out (to others or to yourself), relationships, family dynamics, minority stress, and the emotional impact of living in systems that are not always affirming. I also work with concerns related to anxiety, emotional regulation, self-worth, workplace stress, and life transitions, all through an affirming and non-pathologizing lens.
I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and REBT, but therapy with me is never rigid or formulaic. Sessions are collaborative, paced, and adapted to what feels safe and useful for you. We focus on understanding patterns, building emotional clarity, and strengthening your sense of agency—without rushing you toward labels, decisions, or “fixed” outcomes.
I believe therapy should feel human, steady, and supportive, not clinical or intimidating. Whether you are certain about who you are or still figuring things out, you are welcome here exactly as you are. My role is to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and respect as you make sense of your experiences and move toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic.

Gitanjana Paul

As a Counselling Psychologist, and an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, I am fully dedicated to bringing mental health access to everyone and anyone with any issues related to their identity, orientations, mental health struggles etc.

I can relate to the LGBTQ+ community, and I fully understand the problems faced by them through their day-to-day, which may seem trivial and nothing to others, but can be an intense battle that they fight all alone. I want to help them realize that they don't have to fight that battle alone.

Madan Kumar

Hi! I’m Prathiksha (she/her), a queer and neurodivergent psychologist based in Bengaluru. With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and certification in Trauma-Informed Care and Queer-Affirmative Practice, I’m committed to helping individuals — especially queer youth and adults — navigate trauma, anxiety, identity, self-esteem, and life transitions with compassion and growing curiosity.

My work centers on building awareness, fostering emotional regulation, and helping clients find their voice through self-expression and reconnect with their authentic selves. I draw from Gestalt therapy, Art-Based practices, and queer-affirmative approaches to create a collaborative, expressive space where healing unfolds through reflection, creativity, and body awareness.

Outside of therapy, I love creating art across mediums, exploring world cinema, and advocating for animal rights, each reminding me of the many ways we express our shared humanity.

If you’re looking for a space to unpack your story, explore your identity, or simply be understood without judgment, you’re most welcome here.

We’ll take it one conversation at a time, at your pace.
